Stealth Bastard Game Review
Stealth Bastard is a 2D fast paced stealth game. It is a great brain teaser that will keep you entertained. You will have to avoid robots and lasers to get through the map. It also comes with a level editor so you can make your own levels and play those of other players.
London based indie developer Curve Digital did something quite unusual last week: it gave away its brand new PC game free of charge. And, even better, it did so with a very clear monetization model in place to help ensure that anyone who enjoys it can donate cash to the team to ensure their hard work continues. It’s a model that’s close to the indie way of doing things – prototype, iterate and release.
The game itself is a super-tense, one-step-away-from-chunky-death melange of stealth, platforming and hacking. It’s like Metal Gear Solid and Super Meat Boy had a baby. And, of course, it’s very addictive.
You can earn coins to unlock additional equipment in the game and improve your chances of surviving each map. The game features a campaign mode with 80 levels spread across eight worlds. Each level is filled with tricky puzzles and platforms. Plus, you’ll have to dodge a whole bunch of sharp-eyed security bots who are completely unsympathetic to your plight. The dynamic lighting and a variety of equipment (like the Camo Suit, the Decoy, the Sonic Decoy and the Antilight) will help you outfox your enemies.
